So Chicago was pretty fun. Got there early and froze my ass off in line for several hours. I haven't been in weather that cold in I don't know how long. Probably since I was in Wisconsin in March or something wack. No gloves. Boo. We kept running back and forth from Borders to stay warm and go to the bathroom. Guys in front of us were dicks. Some kids have big mouths. Kids crowded when they opened up the doors and we were trying to get inside as fast as possible. They didn't even question my sidekick! Got a spot against the barricade up front and slowly inched my way closer the entire show. They played the GCH cd again before the show started and I was one of the only kids singing along. Woo. October Fall came out and announced that they've been signed to FBR/Decaydance records. Spitalfield came on next and they were fun (why they played before TAI I still don't know). They didn't play my favorite song off the new CD though :( Boo. TAI came on next. Then we waited for a while for FOB to come on. These dudes from Q101 introduced them and had everyone chant "Fall Out Boy" until they came on. They came on and it was like everything was normal (not that it ever wasn't) but they were giving eachother high fives (something I haven't seen in a while) and Pete was shaking again like he used to. For the first 3-4 songs I had a big smile on my face. I was so proud. It was awesome. The only new new song they played was Sixteen Candles which made me sad because I would have much rather have heard "XO" or Sophomore Slump or Gin Joints or anything else :( Boo...well beggars can't be choosers right? If they don't play anything new at Warped I will riot for reals and burn my cds.....or at least burn burned copies of my cds :X During "Saturday" Pete came over to my side and climbed onto the balcony and Chris helped pull him up so he wouldn't fall and at this point I wasn't singing anymore because I was so concerned about Pete's well being. I was afraid he'd fall and no one would catch him. So he ended up letting himself fall into the crowd (versus jumping) and as he was crowdsurfing to the front Pete fell directly on me and his legs had my head in a deathlock and my face was crushed underneath his crotch/thigh area. Whenever people fall on my head I freak out and start to panic because I can't breathe. Having 120 lbs of Wentz on your neck isn't pleasant. So after Pete got off of my neck he was trying to get back on stage and all these girls were pulling on his shirt and I was trying to beat them off and punch them so he could get back on stage. It was insane. Afterwards I was shaking and could barely walk and was all disoriented and found Amanda who pulled me up and then it took me forever to get outside to find my mom. The merch line was too long so we went outside and found OK Mike and Amanda and everyone and went to Borders and attempted to flyer but the kids in Chicago suck. me - Take a flyer. Be happy! *people don't take flyers* me - FUCK YOU! me - Look! They're pink! Pink is fun! *girls don't take them* me - You're all a bunch of whores! Saw Alby who I seriously haven't seen in 2 or 3 years. His band Amity was in town that night but only two people showed up because FOB was in town (sad :(). They were outside of the Riv passing out flyers. I'm surprised he remembered me. It was really nice to see a friendly face from the westcoast.

Saw Mike, Stan, OK Mike, Amanda, Gene, Jenn, Stacy...kids I haven't necessarily seen in a while.

Pete likes to eat his mom. HAHAHAHHAA

We left around 11:30-midnight and got home at 6am. The Texas boys weren't far behind us so I invited them to crash at my place since it's kind of a halfway spot between Chicago and Texas. Unfortunately they were gone by the time I woke up so I never got to say goodbye :( Poo

Ashley bragged about her experience at 3:57 PM.
