So last night was AWESOME for various reasons.

I didn't get out of lab until 4:30 because we kept screwing up the experiment and doing it wrong. I didn't think we'd EVER get done. So we FINALLY got done and I ran from lab back to my apartment, got my stuff together and went straight to Pop's. Luckily Dan had been there since 3 so when I got there I was able to cut in line with him. Most of the kids didn't get there till like 5-6. I met his friends and saw Roxanne and Michelle and my friend from STLPunk who I haven't seen since the Blink show. There were too many Ashley's in line around me and so when he called my name I kind of ignored it at first but then I realized maybe he was talking to me so I turned around and looked. It was nice. I had my Pez in my back pocket to give to Pete and I was hoping I'd see him before the show and then I saw him playing hacky sack with some kids so I walked over (apparently he has more than one drug free hoodie. either that or he stole Andy's :(). After I walked over more kids saw that it was Pete and were asking him for autographs when he just wanted to play hacky sack. They were trying to get a "hack" going which is apparently when you kick the ball around and get everyone to keep it up without dropping it. I don't know. I didn't join in because I can't rock the hacky sack. This girl asked Pete that if she won at hacky sack or something whether she could make out with him and he just laughed and she was gross. Eww.

They opened doors around 6:30 or so and we all ran inside and got spots up front against the barricade and then went to go check out merch and decided to get it after the show. A Thorn for Every Heart came on and made my ears bleed. It's just bad music. I'm not a fan in the least bit. Matchbook came on after them and they were good as always. Pete came out during "Greatest Fall" and it was like old times all over again. I missed that. FOB came on and it was good except they didn't play "myspace" or "Patron Saint" but they played another new song instead. It wasn't "Hand of God" and they didn't say a title for it. During their set me, Michelle, Roxanne and Melissa were screaming at Pete "SING ASHLEY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" And so during a break Pete was all like "So, my friend Ashley is from around here and it's her birthday so Happy Birthday.....and I guess they want us to sing to her so...." and then he got everyone at the show to sing me Happy Birthday. It was awesome. I was all blushing and screaming and shouting. Man. It felt good. We waited a while for TBS and then they came on and played all the songs I wanted to hear including "One Eighty By Summer." I tried calling Adrienne during "Bonus Moshpit Pt. 2" but then my cell phone died. I was trying to conserve power so I could call her and then it died. Boo. Note to self = always charge phone before a show. During "One Eighty By Summer" this dude climbed onto the barricade by me and stepped on my arm and jumped into the crowd and I was about to punch him in the balls when I realized it was Pete. haha that would have been bad. I left right before they played "Cute without the E" because I needed to get some water. I texted Dan and Ashley to meet me over by the merch before it died so when I left the front I found Dan really easily. I went to the FOB merch table and introduced myself Jim and he said he remembered me from Milwaukee. I got the FOB is for Scenesters shirt. It really aggravates me that shirts are 15 bucks, but what can you do? Said hi to Dirty and he remembered me. I asked him how his brother was doing. Apparently the number isn't 65 anymore ;)

I hung around and found Roxanne and Michelle and crew and used Dan's phone to call Kyle who could barely hear me. I went outside and talked to Kyle for a little bit. he didn't get the TBS or FOB I called him during :( At least he got MBR. I went to my car and got my hoodie and Dan and Michelle and Roxanne and Melissa and I all went and stood around the FOB/MBR bus to see what was going on. Jessi found me and she had lost her voice and wanted to meet Adam from TBS super badly. Most of our time was spent running between the FOB bus and the TBS semi. Some enjoyable moments/quotes were:
+The whole conversation about perineum. Matt from TBS and Pete were asking us what the technical term for the chode (aka the section between the scrotum and the anus) was and I should have known because I'm a Biology major and Michelle and Roxanne have a sex book at home so they yelled out perineum and Pete's like "that sounds like some place you'd go get married at." Which turned into Matt and Pete throwing out lines back and forth.
Matt - Let's go to the perineum and get married!
Pete - YES! TAKE ME NOW!
Oh man. haha so good
+Pete in his pimp hat and Mickey Mouse gloves. Those pics will be a trip and a half.
+I gave Roxanne a piggy back ride. That was fun and then I got one in return from Melissa.
+I was messing with Matt's new Sidekick 2 which proves how crappy they really are. The screen is so easy to break. Michelle dubbed me the fastest typer on a Sidekick ;) Everyone was surprised to find I didn't have mine with me.
- No one wanted any of my pumpkin cookies. Apparently Andy's vegan now.
+ Making fun of a certain kid with a certain impediment ;)
+ Watching a very inebriated Dirty jump across moving compartments on a moving train. It was very entertaining and at the same time scary as hell. I was waiting for him to miss a jump and fall and break his neck. People started screaming "DIRTY STOP IT! GET DOWN FROM THERE!" Pete and Ryan from MBR were going to climb on and join in but then security came and yelled at them to get down. Apparently they threatened to call the cops. I got some pics of it and I'm hoping they come out.
- Waiting outside a bus makes people go crazy like thinking I could sit on a box but I really couldn't. :( It imploded
+ Possibly the BEST conversation of the night and definitely one I will never live down.

haha I honestly have no idea where my head was.
+ I asked this dude from ATFEH about Johnny drumming and they said he was just a fill in. Boo. The dude commented on my drug free hoodie and showed me his straight edge tattoo and I showed him mine. woo
- Matt from TBS saw my hoodie and was like "Drugs are free? WHERE?!" ugh
+ Killing Pete "Saturday" style. So now none of you fucks can steal my brilliant idea :) That was my one moment to do something creative and it was awesome.
+ Pete asking for Adam's autograph. His "report card"

Roxanne and the gang left before we did and so we gave hugs and left and Dan and I went to Steak and Shake to get some grub and created this brilliant idea that you'll all have to wait to find out about.
