So yea, I've been in Kansas City this entire weekend and let me tell you, I had a fucking BLAST! So let's break it down day by day shall we?

Friday I got to KC about 5-5:30 or so and I was hoping that we could leave for the Brand New show right away but I didn't know that Jeremy was coming and that we had to wait for him to get there. So we tried calling him to tell him to get his butt over to Jess' house so that we could leave on time but the phone line was busy and so by the time Jeremy got over there and we left and got to Liberty Hall doors were just opening so there went our chance at being up front but we were super lucky and got this mad rad parking space right across from Liberty Hall. BWAHAHAHAHA. So yea, Eisley went up first and they sucked ass. A good example of why girls shouldn't be in bands. I wanted to stab my ears out. Then Hot Rod Circuit came on and they got the crowd a little excited and then Brand New came on and of course everyone went fucking nuts including myself. They opened with "Tommy Gun" which really surprised me. They played all the songs I wanted to hear included Sic Transit Gloria and Seventy Times 7. We waited outside their bus to see if they'd come out but it was too fucking cold to continue to stand there for a lengthy period of time so we left and got some Mickey D's and then drove home. I forgot to mention that we were lucky enough to hit some portions of the 70W that were toll and might I say that the stretch of highway was pretty damn nice for only a buck 35. I think we should have some parts of 44 made into toll. Just an idea though.

Saturday kicked way more ass then Friday night. Jeremy came over at like noon and we left for FOB around 3 or so. We got lost in downtown KC and we finally found the Beaumont Club and parked in the parking garage right behind it thinking that we wouldn't have to pay anything since there was no chick in the booth but we were wrong (she came on duty by the time we had entered the doors. Grrr!) So continuing in typical FOB review fashion I'm going to institute the + and - system for cool and not so cool points of the evening. Hurr goes.

+Catching Pete, Andy and Jordan as they were going to lunch and having them invite us to go along.
- The waiter at the diner being a complete douchebag and not totaling our order up for us. GRR.
+ Having Pete be concerned about Jess' situation and asking her all these insightful questions about her life and her family life and whatnot.
+ Having Jess say that Jeremy is well-endowed in front of Pete. That made me giggle.
- Having to wait out in the cold for an hour and a half for the doors to open.
- Not being able to find a place with a bathroom.
+ Finally finding a Starbucks and getting some caramel apple cider. YUM!
- Realizing that I had left my Starbucks card at home. Haha
+ Finding out that Punchline was filling in for Rufio.
+ Being recognized by the singer and the drummer that I knew the words to "Open Up" and that I was the only person who did.
+ Getting my FOB scarf and a Punchline shirt.
+ Hearing Punchline play "Heart Transplant."
+ FOB playing "Yule Shoot Your Eye Out" for what I think was the first time ever live.
+ Having Pete, as always, direct most of his singing attention towards me.
+ Watching Pete crawl like a monkey during "Saturday" on the ceiling and hang down and scream.
+ Getting to hear "Chicago" this time around.
- Having some bitch behind me screaming the first verses in my ear and then having no clue how the rest of the song goes and trying to start her own mosh pit in a 2 inch space and kicking me in the shins and stuff. I finally started kicking her back in the legs but then she just started shoving her foot into my calf. I wanted to turn around and punch her so hard.
+ Finding out that Pete's present for me was a camo vinyl of their record that they were only going to get 200 in for their friends. He's gonna mail it to me when they come in. o0oo Pete mail!!
+ Having Jeremy try to bartar with Jordan for a scarf. Jordan wanted Jeremy's glasses, then Jess' hat then Jeremy's permit. Jeremy offered Jordan a dollar and then Jordan was all "you have to talk to one of the guys in the band" and so Jeremy talked to Pete and he said it was cool so Jeremy got a scarf for a dollar. Haha. I guess it pays to be friends with me eh?
+ Hearing the guys of Punchline be shocked that I had heard of them for like 9 months or so and then being way shocked that Jess actually bought their DVD.
+Getting into the show for free.
- Having to wait outside in the cold for about 30 mins for Pete to come out after the show ended.
- Having drunks talk to us about Snuffy being a pothead and the Mighty Mighty Bosstones breaking up :(
+ Keeping warm by staying close.
- Some douche parking an inch behind their trailer so they couldn't pull out.
+ Almost getting to see his car get towed.
+ Giving Pete his letter and Kill Bill having him tell me he'd "definitely let me know" what he thought about the letter.
+ Getting Pete's cell number at the end of the night.
+ Getting a picture of Pete riding the mechanical bull inside.
+ This conversation
*Pete takes Jeremy's super awesome glasses and walks up to the van with them on*
Pete - "Hey guys, let's go to the moon."
The entire van cracks up
Pete - "This is fucking out of this world."
Haha I love Pete.
- Realizing what my clever Family Guy reference in Pete's letter ACTUALLY meant.
+ Getting lots of good Pete hugs as always.
+ Getting to see Pete's mad rad hair and the tattoos on his back that I never knew existed.

Jordan asked us how to get back onto the I-70 E but we had no idea since we got lost getting there so we couldn't help him. While getting on the free way I almost rearended some asshole that thought it would be keen to be stopped in the middle of the merge lane. Word to Douchy McBag, it's not. I was slowing down and then I started sliding so I had to slam on my brakes and because of that I skidded but luckily I was by the curb so I got control of my car okay. It still freaked me the fuck out. Then we got home and Jeremy spent the night and we all watched the Punchline DVD which I'm in love with. I need to buy it for myself. It's Pirate TASTIC!!! Haha Snuggling was had last night to get warm. My neck hurt when I woke up this morning because Jess' bed is most DEFINTELY not made for 3 people.

I enjoyed driving around and getting lost in Independence today with Jess. It gave us a good opportunity to talk about things.

When I came back I realized that my dipshit of a roommate hadn't gotten the mail all weekend and it turns out I got a card with 20 bucks in it from my mom and my FOB "Evening's Out with Your Girlfriend" CD FINALLY in the mail. I even got an old school poster with it! Yip!

PS Links to my LBC and FOB pics are coinciding with the name of the group.

Ashley bragged about her experience at 8:19 PM.
