The Movielife show last night was AMAZING. The only shitty part was having to wait 5 hours through 5 different bands before the band I actually paid to see came on.

Form Follows Failure (or whatever their name is) went first and they were good. They're a local band from St. Louis. Then Honorary Title was on next. They were kind of like an acoustic Matchbox 20. At least that's what the lead singer's voice reminded me of. Then Murder By Death and let me say that the cello player was AMAZING. I think she was the most energetic/emotional one in the band. She rocked the cello like nothing else. Simply amazing. I took some pictures of her and her rad ass cello. Then Fairweather came on and they were pretty good too. Then the Movielife FINALLY came on and I rocked out so hard. Vinnie is so cute in person. I had him sign my TBS shirt and I was talking to him about his tattoos and I was all "well, as long as they mean something to you then that's all that matters" and he gave me this big goofy grin and was all "or if they look pretty." Hehe. I wanted to put him in my purse and take him home with me. TML is amazing on stage. They played all my favorite songs but then halfway through their set my camera decided to be all gay and have the flash stop working so I only got a few pictures of Vinnie, but hopefully they came out. I'm going to get my roll developed today so I'll post a link to the pictures when I get them back.

So yea, I definitely haven't updated this page in forever but yea, I went and saw Fall Out Boy last night so here's my review.

I got to the Creepy Crawl pretty early (around 5:30 or so) and went around back and said hi to everyone. I talked to Pete and found out that he hadn't gotten his work done yet (he made an appointment for October 21). He was wearing a cute little pink Spitalfield t-shirt with a bunny on the cover that said "We play with plastic knives." It was adorable. Joe and Pete both commented on how cute my Nightmare Before Christmas shirt was which was the plan because I know how in love with Nightmare Pete is. We were talking about me going to college and their tour and everything. I gave Joe a copy of the In and Out secret menu and he sung my praises. Hehe. He's like in love with me now :D Joe and I were talking about how we both love being straight edge and he was asking this kid from Don't Look Down (who smokes and drinks) what he thought about Edge kids. It was great. I met these two girls, Nicolette and Sundie (yes that's her actual name), from Springfield that go to college in Wisconsin but are taking some time off from college (which I never understand). They were pretty nice, except they smoke, but oh well. Doors opened at 7 and DLD came on at 7:30. They were AMAZING. I think I'm gonna have to get their CD some time. FOB came on next and everyone went fucking nuts and I got shoved up against the stage. Poor Pete got smacked in the face with Joe's guitar and started oozing blood. I never saw him get hit but I saw the blood. It was all over his face, his t-shirt, his guitar and his jeans. He was hurt pretty badly. He kept playing though like the trooper he is. He looked like he was in a lot of pain. More people in STL knew about FOB then I had talked to. Some bitches around me kept shoving and shit so I was elbowing them and stepping on their toes so they would back up. I took some good pics of FOB but I probably won't get them back for a couple days or so because I still need to waste the rest of the roll. After FOB I left the front and Pete was taken to the hospital by some friend of theirs. Plain White T's came on next and they were pretty good. Then Yellowcard came on and they were good also. I was surprised that no one knew "Sure Shot." You'd think that all the hardcore YC fans would know that song, but no one did. I was hoping that they'd play "Everywhere" but they didn't. Poo :( The lead singer's mannerisms remind me of Tony's. I met this girl in the back area who knows my cousin and went to his graduation party and what not. She was okay. We met the drummer of YC and he invited her to go party with his band afterwards. I think he was hitting on her. Oh well, he was pretty nice. I saw him comforting some girl who was crying during their set and I thought that was really nice of him. After the show got over I went out back and Pete wasn't back from the hospital yet which wasn't surprising since you never get priority in the ER unless your arms are hanging on by a thread. So I hung out and talked with the boys for about an hour after the show got over and then Jakus told me that they were leaving to go back to their hotel and that they didn't know when Pete would be back and they didn't want to go get food anywhere until he came back so I gave everyone hugs and told Patrick to tell Pete that I hope he feels better and then Jakus walked me back to my car and we were talking and he admitted that he had never got my name from the Phoenix show. He's such a nice guy even though I would never want to fuck with him. Haha. So we exchanged cell phone numbers so he could call me and we could hang out sometime and we hugged and then I left. He was supposed to call me last night so we could hang but he called me around 1am and told me he was gonna take a shower and then call me back and I didn't hear anything from him by two and I need to go to sleep so I turned off my phone and went to bed.

Other things I forgot to mention
The Creepy Crawl is such a shitty venue. It's the size of the Big Fish Pub with NO air conditioning and when it gets packed in there it's impossible to get to the bar to buy water.

The merch guy, Jordan, remembered me from the Phoenix show. w00t w00t. I bought some really short and cute FOB gym shorts. HOOTTTT shiz. They ran out of the air freshner shirt. Poo.

If anyone is going to see FOB soon, tell me how Pete's doing.
