w0wzers! I haven't posted in here in FOREVER! LOL. Last night was the Homegrown/Riddlin Kids/All-American Rejects show and it was AWESOME! Hehehe. I got there super early about 6pm (doors opened at 7pm) and as I was walking to get in line I saw Johnee from Homegrown standing by the RV talking to this girl. I was gonna ask him to sign my shirt and stuff but I didn't wanna be rude and interrupt their convo so I went to go see how long the line was. Needless to say, the line was EXTREMELY short. LOL. There were two lines. One was for people who needed to buy tickets and the other one was for people who already had tickets or were on a guest list or something. Since the line was so short I decided to go to the back of the Bash and see if anyone was hanging out back there that I could talk to. I saw Mark from RK and I was like "heyyy!" and he actually remembered me for once. LOL. The only reason he remembered me was because I yelled at him at Edgefest for not remembering me. LOL. We were talking about touring and Christmas presents and then he decided to go inside so I gave him a big hug and told him I'd catch him later. Then I was looking for Johnee and I didn't see him anywhere so I decided to go stand in line. I was like the 3rd person in the ticket line. I saw Bekki there who's like at EVERY show and wears slutty clothes and blech. I also saw this kid who I saw at the Incubus show in October. He recognized me and was all like "were you at Incubus?" and I was like "OMG! LOL I think I recognized you!" So we were talking the entire time I was standing in line and when I finally was able to get inside they were right there by me. w00t w00t! I was like the second person to get in so I hauled ass over to the merch booths and bought 2 shirts and a cd. They gave me a free poster and stickers. w00t w00t! I got Angie a shirt for her birthday and had everyone in AAR and Homegrown sign it for her and wish her a Happy Birthday. w00t w00t! I'm a great friend. I gave the merch guy too much money and I didn't realize it till after I went back to my place on the rails and I had to go back and get my 10 back AND my Sharpie. LOL. I felt like such a nerd. I saw K8 there because she said she was gonna be there. We were right up front together. I saw Kyndl there too who I haven't like had a real conversation with since Freshman year when we used to walk home together. *sigh* I miss those days sometimes. She got dragged there by Cassie and some other girl. I met this guy there named Wolfram who's super nice. He's a freshman at ASU. w00t w00t! I saw Dustin from RK before the show started and he was like "Heyyy Ashley! What's up?!" and he gave me a super big hug and I was like "I was hoping you wouldn't forget me since it's been 4 months since I last saw you guys and he was like "I could never forget you!" and then he told me that he'd catch me later and he called me sweetheart :) He's so0o0o nice! So Flashlight Brown came up first and they were Canadian and okay. LOL. I saw Clint from RK on the side of the stage and he saw me and waved and was like "how are you?" and I gave him a thumbs up and then I saw him walk over by the bathrooms and I was looking at him and he was motioning for me to come over so I left my spot and went and said hi and he gave me this bigggg hug and I was like "hi! I didn't think you'd remember me" and he was like "Yea, I'm kinda bad with names but I totally remember you" and then he started hitting on me. He was like "you smell good" and I was like "I'm wearing vanilla" and he was like "I can tell" and then he leaned in to tell me something and he was like "I apologize for licking your ear." I was like "we need to get a picture together but I left my camera over by my spot" and he was like "yea! definitely!" I told him I wanted him to have my RK Army bracelet and I gave it to him and I told him what it said and he gave me a thumbs up and was like "that's totally awesome" and gave me another big hug and I asked him if I could have one of his bracelets so he gave me one of his so now we're like bracelet buddies. w00t w00t!Then I told him I'd see him later and went back to my spot. I kept seeing him on the side of the stage before their set and we were waving at eachother and making funny faces. LOL. I saw Dustin when I was over there too and he gave me this biggg hug too and was telling me how he was looking at the picture of us the other day where he's picking me up and I was like "Awwww!" Hehe. All-American Rejects came on and they kicked ass. I asked this one guitarist dude if I could have his set list when he was done and he was all like "totally" and they played "Don't Leave Me" and "Swing Swing" which of course I went fuckin nuts for because it's my new favorite song. I was jumping up and down. I <3 that song. It's my new anthem :) At the end of their set the girl that Bekki was with grabbed the set list before the guitarist could get to it for me and I was fuckin pissed. He was like "did you get the set list?" and I was like "no, she grabbed it instead" and he was like "Awww! well, do you want a guitar pick instead?" and I was like "totally" so he gave me a guitar pick. w00t w00t! Then Riddlin Kids came on and they rocked as usual. Clint, Mark and Dustin were making a lot of eye contact with me which is NEVER a bad thing. LOL. I was like one of the only people who knew all the lyrics. These two guys and all these other people were pushing their way to the front because they were "hardcore" RK fans I guess or some shit. I don't like getting shoved and I felt sorry for K8 because the two guys were RIGHT by her. LOL. Poor K8. The one thing I love about RK is that no matter how many times I see them perform the same material it's a different show each time. They have so much stage presence and energy. It's great :) So they finished up and then Homegrown was having some major difficulties with their equipment because it was new and they were trying all these different cords and having to borrow Mark's amp. Finally they got everything figured out and by now it's about midnight and I'm SUPER tired so I was like laying my head on Kyndl's shoulder. I asked Darren if I could have a drumstick when he was done and he said something but I couldn't hear what it was. LOL. Then Johnee came on and tried to lighten the mood by telling some really lame jokes. They were cheesy funny tho. LOL. Then Homegrown finally came on and they were awesome. I sang to every song I knew. I love it when Johnee yells at Adam and calls him a "white piece of shit" LOL. There's some classic moments right there. Darren threw out his broken drumsticks and Kyndl caught one for me. She's rad :) They finished their set with "Kiss Me, Diss Me." Awesomeness. When I was gathering my stuff to leave I noticed a guitar pick on the barricade and I don't know who's it was but I took it anyway. LOL. Then I found Adam and went up to have him sign my shirts and get a pic and whatnot and he was like "hey! thanks for rocking out!" and I was like "w0wzers!" I think it's totally rad when people in bands realize how into their music you are. I had no idea he even noticed me. LOL. He didn't say that to anyone else. w00t w00t! I was surprised at how nice all the guys were. Then I went and found Johnee and got a pic with him and got him to sign my shirts. I was telling him how i had to get up for school in 5 hours and how badly it sucked and he was like "that sucks man." I found Kim and she was hanging around with me because she needed to find the missing members of RK to get them to sign her old school CD LOL. I got Darren to sign Angie's shirt and my drumstick and get a picture and the new guitarist signed my shirts too. Wolfram was tagging along with me and Kim too. I stole some set water from a box because I was so0o0o0o thirsty and too cheap to spend money on agua. LOL. I saw Mark and I asked him where the rest of his homies were and he was like "they said fuck off....just kidding" and he was smiling and told me where they were. He signed Kim's cd and was like "now you can't say that I didn't remember you." Hehehe. I gave him a big hug and told him I'd see him next time they came into town. I found Clint in the bar and since I'm not 21 I couldn't go in so I was like "Clint! I can't go in the bar!" and he left his discussion with his peoples and came over and picked me up and swung me around like three times and then set me down and gave me this big noisy kiss on my temple and I was like "you're drunk Clint" and he was like "Do I look drunk?" and I was like "no but you act it." He looks all depressed when he's drunk. LOL. I showed him my tattoo and he was like "what does sXe mean?" and I was like straight edge and he had this sad look on his face and he was like "Do you hate me because I've been drinking?" and I was like "No Clint, I still love you" and he gave me another big hug and a noisy kiss on my head. I was like "you give noisy kisses." He kept hugging me. LOL. I bet our pic came out super cute because he held me really close to him. Then I asked to see his new tattoo and it's this guy with a black box over his eyes with the words "Blind" in it and I was like "hmmm" and he was like "Blind is my favorite Riddlin Kids song." Then he saw someone else and kinda ditched me so me and Kim and Wolfram left to go find Dustin and Dave. I found Dave and I was like "hey where's Dustin?" and he was like "I had to kill him. I just couldn't handle dealing with his crap anymore ya know?" and I just started laughing and he was like "actually I don't know where Dustin is." So I pointed out Dave to Kim and she got his sig and whatnot. Wolfram was walking with us to our cars and he was like "can I get your number?" so I gave it to him and he put his number in my cell. He invited me and Kim to go to Denny's and I told him I would love to but I couldn't because I had school today. So I left and called Jared so he'd keep me awake on the way home and we had an entertaining conversation. <3that kid. I got home at like 1:30am and didn't go to sleep till 2am so I'm kinda dead right now. LOL. But that was my ever interesting experience. I'll post pics when they become available.
