Wow, the Jimmy Eat World concert rocked my face!! It was one of the best concerts I've been to, better than GC and Incubus! Sorry guys. Cave In opened up, and they were really awesome. I bought their EP for like 5 bucks, woo! Then Sparta (aka ex At The Drive In) was next. Their set was like an hour, but they were super good. I got their CD the other day, it was on sale at Target. They're kind of an acquired taste, but I like them a lot. Then...like 30 minutes after Sparta was...JIMMY! Oh man, they did so good. They opened with A Praise Chorus. They had a good mix of songs...some old, some new. Let's see if I can remember em. Blister, Lucky Denver Mint, Authority Song, For Me This Is Heaven, A Sunday, Sweetness, Get It Faster, The Middle, Bleed American, My Sundown...and a lot more but I didn't know em cause I dont know all the old stuff, just mostly the stuff off of Clarity & Bleed American. But it was great. Especially during the slow songs cause I could slow dance with Andy and the lights were all nifty. I'm going over to Andy's tomorrow, so I'll try and scan some of the really good ones. My pictures turned out kind of sucky though because my flash mixed with the lights & fog & stuff. AND it makes us look farther away than we really were. But anyways! I had a lot of fun. It was seriously the best concert I've been to. We didn't meet them though, sad times. But...on the bright side...I did get one of Jim's guitar picks, and that made my night. I keep it in my wallet, haha, and carry it around! Oh, and the funny thing is...I really did hear they sucked live from like 3 people. But! They didnt. Even though Jim's voice is kinda...nasally live, I think he does it on purpose. But it was excellent! Tom has a good voice too. 5 thumbs up!
