I went to the Sum 41/Unwritten Law/GOB concert Sunday night and it was awesome! It was for Sum 41's Tour of the Rising Sun and I had a blast! I was on my way home from California so my mommy just dropped me off at Club Rio. It was like 8:20 so I missed most of GOB's set but it wasn't that big of a deal cuz I didn't come to see them anyways. I got to see them play like 2 songs and then their set was over. I moved towards the back of the crowd and I could see the stage where as I had a shitty view before. I dropped a crowd surfer! During UL's set some crowd surfer guy was crowd surfing and I grabbed his leg and realized I couldn't hold him so I dropped him. LOL. Everyone else dropped him too tho so it was cool. He didn't seem to mind either. LOL. Unwritten Law came on and they just totally rocked the house. I had heard their song Seein Red on the radio that day but I didn't know it was by them. They were so awesome. They're one of my new favorite bands now. I can't wait for Elva to drop next week. I'm gonna buy it the day it comes out man. Yesterday I was driving around town going to Best Buy and Wherehouse cuz I want their self-titled cd sooooooo badly. Those stores didn't even have one UL cd. They were completely sold out of everything. Do you know how stupid that is? So I went to Tower Records and got a copy of Oz Factor which isn't the best cd in the world but it's okay. They played Up All Night, Seein Red and Cailin which are my fave songs by them so far. I was all rocking out and jumping up and down. It also helped that the lead singer was a totally hottie. He kinda reminds me of Kurtis. Anyways he was yummy. Hehehe. After that, I moved around some more so that I could actually see some mics. When I was pushing my way through the crowd some guy said "excuse you bitch" and my jaw just kinda dropped because that's something that a chick would normally say. I wanted to say something back to him so badly but he was there with his gf so I figured if I said something to him she would get on my ass so I kept my mouth shut and just walked by. I was talking to this guy near by me named Mike. Everyone was screaming and I was all like "there's no one on the fuckin stage yet" and Mike was totally agreeing with me so that's how we became acquainted. Then I screamed "I wanna make love to the mics!" just to be stupid. He smiled so I was like yay I did my job at embarassing myself. I introduced myself and he said he was 18 and he worked for a radio station in Prescott so he got to interview the bands beforehand. Sum 41 finally came on and everyone went nuts. They played the little intro from All Killer No Filler and then just started going crazy. I had lots of fun singing along and jumping around. But sometime during the concert we got pushed back extremely far and I was like SHIT! Once when I was jumping up and down this bitch was jumping up and down in front of me and bumped my belly button ring and it hurt soooooooo bad. I was like FUUUUUUUUUCK! I was clutching it and Mike asked me what was wrong. He was a total sweetie. He had his lip pierced and his cartilage pierced and think he might have been gay, but I'm not sure. Sum asked for 2 chicks to go up to the stage and start making out. Well they got 6 chicks on stage and these two chicks were going at it for the longest time. I was like Jesus Christ. I happened to be standing like in the pathway of this fan and I was freezing my little ass off so I was like clutching my arms and Mike asked me if I was cold and I said yeah and then I grabbed onto his button up shirt to cover up part of my body. Sum left the stage after playing Fat Lip I think and then everyone was like "encore! encore!" cuz you knew they would prolly come back out cuz they always do. Then they came back and played a couple more songs. After that I left and saw my mommy. I saw some chick getting put into the back of an ambulance and she looked like she was in pain. I was hoping for some classic mosh pit head trauma or something, but no such luck. Then my mom noticed that there were all these people standing around so I got out of the car and I saw Cone but I didn't get his autograph cuz he left before I could but I got my picture taken with Deryck and I got his siggie. Then this guy came and started hitting on my mom. He was looking at her and she turned around and he's like "hey" and she's like "hi" and he goes "how are you" and she said "pretty good" or something to that effect and then he was all like "you're quite a hottie aren't you?" She was like "who? me?" and he was like yeah. Then he looked at me and said "oh, is she your mom?" and I'm like yeah and then I said "if you talk to my mom like that again I will smack the shit out of you." Then he was all like "I'm sorry, I have a fetish" and I repeated myself, "no seriously, if you talk to my mom like that again I will smack the shit out of you." Then he left cuz I think I scared him shitless. LOL. He was kinda cute until he opened his mouth. He had been drinking too. Oh well. That's it for now. Unless something new happens, I won't be posting till February after the Mest concert. TTYL.
